Refund Policy – Memberships
Last updated: 11 July 2026
1. Scope
This Refund Policy – Memberships explains billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds for Memberships purchased through the Site. How access to a Membership is provided is covered by the Delivery Policy – Memberships. It works alongside your statutory rights, which are unaffected.
2. Recurring Billing and Automatic Renewal
- Memberships are billed monthly, in advance, at the price shown at checkout, in USD, until you cancel.
- Signing up creates a recurring subscription. It renews automatically on the same date each month until cancelled.
- Payment is taken from the payment method you provide. If that method expires or fails, billing is retried; see §6.
- We send a confirmation email for each payment and a reminder email before each renewal, so you can cancel in time.
- Price changes. We may change the price of a Membership. We will give at least thirty (30) days' notice by email before a price change takes effect. If you do not want the new price, you may cancel before the effective date and will retain access to the end of the paid period. No price increase applies retroactively.
- Taxes. Prices exclude applicable sales tax, VAT, GST or similar indirect taxes, which are calculated at checkout or added where required by law.
3. Cancellation — Anytime, No Fee
- You may cancel at any time, from your account settings, by clicking a "cancel" link in any subscription email, or by emailing support@impactsourcetechnologies.com.
- There is no cancellation fee, no minimum term and no notice period requirement beyond the end of your current period.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Your access continues until that date.
- We send you a confirmation of cancellation. Please retain it.
4. Refunds
- We do not refund the current period on request, because services have been provided during it.
- Where you cancel within fourteen (14) days of a renewal, we refund that renewal in full and your access continues to the end of the period.
- If we cancel or materially reduce a Membership for our own reasons (other than your breach), we refund the unused portion of the current period on a pro-rata basis.
- Any refund for a Membership is subject to the Refund Policy – Digital Products §2 (no refund once Content has been accessed) and to §8 (chargebacks).
- Refunds are issued at the amount you actually paid, to the original payment method.
5. Pausing, Downgrading and Upgrading
- Where offered, a Membership may be paused once per billing period for up to two (2) months, from your account settings. Billing pauses with it and access is suspended for the pause period.
- Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. Any price difference for the remainder of the current period is not refundable, but we will not charge more than the lower price for that remainder.
- Upgrades take effect immediately, and we charge the pro-rata difference for the remainder of the current period.
6. Payment Failures, Suspension and Reactivation
If a payment fails, we will retry using reasonable intervals. We will notify you by email. Your Membership and Content access may be suspended if payment remains outstanding for more than fourteen (14) days. You may update your payment method at any time to restore access. Where you stop payment through your bank rather than cancelling, the Membership may be suspended for non-payment and reactivated if billing resumes. Where a Membership is suspended and later reactivated, the original start date does not shift and lapsed periods are not reinstated. Where payment fails because of suspected fraud, we may cancel the Membership and refer the matter to our payment processors.
7. Statutory Rights
If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or a jurisdiction providing a cooling-off period, you have the right to withdraw from a contract within fourteen (14) days without giving a reason. Where you have requested that we begin providing Services before the end of that period and have acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal once supply has begun, the right lapses once we begin. Where we have begun supplying Services and you then cancel, we may deduct a proportionate amount for Services provided up to the point of cancellation, as permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this Policy limits mandatory consumer rights.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
Before cancelling a Membership or raising a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, please contact support@impactsourcetechnologies.com. Most issues are resolved within one business day, and you may cancel at any time under §3 without any penalty for having raised a concern. Where a chargeback is raised without prior contact, or where a payment is found to be fraudulent, we may suspend or terminate your Membership, and we will report the matter to our payment processors and, where appropriate, law enforcement.
9. How to Request a Refund
Email support@impactsourcetechnologies.com with:
We respond within five (5) business days. Banks and payment processors typically take ten (10) business days to credit the funds, and may charge a currency-conversion or cross-border fee.
- your membership number;
- the email address used for the purchase;
- the date of the renewal or payment concerned;
- the reason for the request.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. We will post the revised version with a new date and give at least thirty (30) days' notice by email of any material change. Where a change would reduce your rights, we will apply the more favourable of the two versions to your current period. Changes do not affect the current billing period already paid for.
